10. EXPERIENCE:
I did my Undergraduate and Post graduate medical studies from Grant Government Medical College & Sir JJ Group of Govt Hospitals, Mumbai. Thereafter after passing qualifying exams I enrolled for Super-Specialty course in Surgical Gastroenterology at Seth GS Medical & KEM Hospital, Mumbai. I am privileged of having obtained my GI Surgical training from teachers like Prof R.D. Bapat, Prof A.N.Supe and Prof. Chetan Kantharia.
During my training in Surgical Gastroenterology, I have had an opportunity to manage various complex cases successfully. I was actively involved in OPD of new and follow up patients, pre and post- operative patient care and intensive care of GI Surgical patients. Apart from GI and HPB malignancies our center was referral center for benign diseases like corrosive esophageal injury, portal hypertension, bile duct injury and inflammatory bowel disease. I was active member of liver transplant team at our centre.
I have done my thesis titled Study of clinical and morphological changes in liver in an operated cases of obstructive jaundice under guidance of Prof. Dr. R.Y. Prabhu.
I have attended national conferences of IASG & IHPBA in last 3 years.
After this in September 2017, I joined As Assistant Professor In General Surgery at Government Medical College, Aurangabad as a part of Compulsory State Government service to serve my PG Bond. There I was involved in all General Surgical, Elective and emergency patients looking mainly after GI Surgical patients. I had good experience of GI and HPB related trauma patients during this period. I was also actively involved in both Undergraduate and Postgraduate teaching.
After finishing my bond service, In June 2018, I joined As Senior Resident in Rajiv Gandhi Super Speciality Hospital, Tahirpur, New Delhi. Here I was involved in OPD, Indoor, Operative and ICU management of All GI surgical cases including Complex HPB cases and Advanced laparoscopic procedures.
I am interested in Liver transplant and HPB surgery, and want to develop my career in the same. For same I worked at Fortis hospital Noida as senior clinical fellow. It is high volume liver transplant center.As active member I was involved in management of liver transplant patients-pre operative operative and post operative care including ICU management. I have thorough operative exposure in both donor and recipient surgeries.
Currently working as Consultant GI, HPB and Liver transplant Surgeon at Jupiter Hospital Baner Pune.
